COMOLADO

Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal data COMOLADO collects, why, how long we keep it, who else may process it, and how to ask for a copy or deletion of your data.

COMOLADO is a trading brand of 扬州福奇网络技术有限公司 (Yangzhou Fuqi Network Technology Co., Ltd.), the data controller for the information described here. We sell and ship internationally from China. Privacy contact: sale@comolado.com. Last updated: 31 October 2026.

What we collect

Category Examples Why we need it
Order data Order number, items ordered, prices, currency, status and history. To process, fulfil and support your order, and to keep accounting records.
Contact details Name, email address and telephone number. To confirm your order, answer questions, send tracking updates and handle claims.
Delivery address Recipient name, street address, city, region, postcode, country. To ship your parcel and complete customs documentation.
Message content Compatibility enquiries, and photographs or video you send to support a claim. To identify the correct part and assess warranty or return claims.
Technical and usage data IP address, browser type, pages visited, approximate location from IP. To keep the site working and secure, and to see which products are useful.
Cookies and local storage Session cookie, cart contents, language and currency preference. To keep you signed in and keep your cart and preferences between visits.

We do not store full payment card numbers on this site. Online payments are processed by PayPal (card payments via Airwallex will be added later). Card data is handled by the payment provider and never stored on our servers.

Why we process it

  • To perform the contract with you: taking, packing, shipping and invoicing your order.
  • To support you: compatibility confirmation, warranty assessment and returns handling.
  • For legitimate interests: preventing fraud, keeping claim records, and improving the catalogue.
  • To comply with legal obligations, including tax and customs requirements.
  • With your consent, where you have opted in to marketing. You can withdraw consent at any time.

How long we keep it

Data Retention
Account and order records 5 years after the last order, or longer where tax or accounting law requires it.
Shipping and customs data As long as carriers and customs require, typically up to 24 months.
Support messages, photos and video 24 months after the case is closed, then deleted.
Cart and session cookies Until your session ends, or for the life of the cart if you return to it.
Marketing consent records Until you unsubscribe, plus a short period to record that you did.

When a retention period ends we delete the data or irreversibly anonymise it.

Who else may see your data

  • Shipping and logistics carriers — the name, address, telephone number and contents declaration needed to deliver your parcel and clear customs.
  • Payment providers — PayPal and Airwallex, once online payment is enabled: the order amount, billing details and contact information needed to take payment and process refunds.
  • Hosting, email and messaging providers — infrastructure that stores the storefront and delivers our emails.
  • Customs and tax authorities — where a shipment or sale requires a declaration.
  • Professional advisers — accountants or legal advisers, where necessary.

We do not sell your personal data. Because we ship worldwide from China, some processing may take place outside your country, including in China; where required we use contractual safeguards.

Your rights

Where applicable under local law — for example GDPR-style rules in the EEA or United Kingdom, or CCPA/CPRA-style rules in California — you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you and receive a copy.
  • Correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Delete your data, subject to records we must keep for tax or legal reasons.
  • Portability — receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
  • Object to or restrict certain processing, including direct marketing.
  • Withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent.
  • Complain to your local data protection authority.

These rights are not absolute and vary by jurisdiction; we will explain any limitation that applies.

Cookies, security and children

  • We use essential cookies and local storage to keep your basket, session and preferences working. Optional Google Ads measurement is described below. Advertising tags and attribution cookies are disabled until you choose to allow ad measurement. You can change your choice using the Privacy choices button in the footer.
  • Data is transmitted over encrypted connections and access is limited to the people who need it. We keep records to the minimum needed and delete them on the schedule above.
  • This store is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has sent us data, contact us and we will delete it.

Requesting access or deletion

  • Email sale@comolado.com with the subject "Data request", stating whether you want access, correction, deletion, portability or an objection to processing.
  • Include the email address or order number linked to the data, so we can locate it.
  • We may ask for information to confirm your identity, so nobody else's data is released.
  • We aim to respond within 30 days.
  • Deletion does not cancel an open order, or remove records we must keep for tax or legal reasons.

Questions?

For any privacy question, or to request a copy or deletion of your data, email sale@comolado.com, or use the contact page.

Order verification

We use your email to verify access to your orders and send order updates. Shipping address details are sent to Google Address Validation to check delivery information before checkout; payment card details are not sent to this service. Verification requests are limited to prevent abuse. Contact us if your correct address cannot be verified.

Optional Google Ads measurement

If you choose Allow ad measurement, we load the Google Ads tag and use ad click identifiers (gclid, gbraid or wbraid) and campaign parameters to measure which ads lead to purchases. The tag sends Google information about your browser and page visits. For a confirmed online payment, we may also send Google the ad click identifier, order number, payment time, amount and currency from our server, including when you do not return from the payment provider. This server report does not include your name, email, telephone number or delivery address. We use the order number to avoid counting the same purchase twice.

This choice permits advertising measurement, not personalised advertising. We send a denied signal for ad personalisation. You can reject optional measurement and still browse, order and pay. Advertising tags are not loaded before permission, and we do not send optional server conversion reports without a matching consent record.

The cm_ad_attribution cookie lasts up to 90 days. Your measurement choice is associated with the existing first-party session cookie for up to 180 days. Order attribution and conversion processing records may be retained with order records for the retention period above. Google may process measurement data outside your country under its privacy policy and explains its use of partner-site data here.

Use Privacy choices in the footer to withdraw permission. Withdrawal stops future optional reports linked to this browser's choice and removes our attribution cookie; it cannot undo reports already sent. Contact sale@comolado.com for access or deletion requests, including if you no longer have the original browser session.
